NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER CHAMONIX, SALLANCHES, SAINT GERVAIS, MEGÈVE, ANNECY AND GENEVA

Newborn photographer in Chamonix, I’m specialized in family photography, especially in photography of newborns, babies between 0 and 10 days of age. I am based in Servoz, 15 minutes from Chamonix, one hour from Annecy and 45 minutes from Geneva.

The first moments of your baby’s life are unique and pass very quickly. With a newborn photo session you can immortalize these precious moments and keep a good memory in pictures.

The best time to photograph your baby is between the 5th and 10th day of birth, when the newborn is sleeping a lot and very deep. This will make it easier to pose him/her. In addition, the newborn has very specific physical characteristics, such as the fetal position, which disappears very quickly.

Newborn sessions are done indoors, in a warm room, at home or in my home studio. The duration of the session is usually around 3 hours but can also go up to 4 hours, depending on the rhythms of the baby. It will indeed take all the necessary time to breastfeed, change and put him to sleep. During the session the baby will preferably be asleep: try to schedule the last feed or bottle just before the session.

As a baby photographer, I have all the props to dress the baby during the session: wraps, hats, headbands, sets, fur rugs, as well as wooden containers and studio backdrops. From the beginning of the session the baby will be undressed and wrapped in a blanket. This will get him used to being almost naked and it will make it easier for me to undress him for pictures.

Family photos are included in the price of the newborn session. If you wish, I also take family photos with the brothers and sisters.

The newborn session is ideally reserved during the 3rd trimester of your pregnancy. When the baby is born, you will have to let me know as soon as possible, so that we can take a final booking.
