WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER MEGÈVE: WEDDING CELEBRATED AT THE TOWN HALL OF MEGÈVE, RECEPTION AT THE CABANE DES PRAZ IN CHAMONIX

Mariage organisé au mois de décembre à Megève et Chamonix. La journée se presente magnifique depuis les préparatifs dans un chalet à Chamonix, les jours d’avant il a beaucoup neigé et le jour du mariage le ciel est bleu et la chaine du Mont Blanc complètement dégagé. Les sapins se plient en sous le pois de la neige, tout est blanc et bleu intense, la lumière est simplement magnifique.

Wedding organized in December in Megève and Chamonix. The day looks beautiful since the preparations in a chalet in Chamonix, the days before it snowed a lot and the day of the wedding the sky is blue and the Mont Blanc chain completely clear. The fir trees bend under the weight of the snow, everything is white and intense blue, the light is simply magnificent.

The family gathers at the chalet for group photos and a small buffet meal and then everyone moves to downtown Megève for the civil ceremony. The ceremony takes place in the presbytery, next to the church and La Chapelle Sainte Anne, where the bride and groom and their guests gather for a moment of prayer. At the exit of the chapel we stay for some photos on the square of Megève. The historic center of Megève has preserved its charm of a true Haut-Savoyard village, with its medieval-looking buildings, even more charming with the snow and the atmosphere of Christmas approaching.

The cold begins to be felt as soon as the last rays of the sun hide, we are in the month of December and night falls quickly, temperatures drop and guests return to their cars to reach Chamonix. Meet at the Cabane des Praz for the celebrations.

La Cabane des Praz is a large traditional chalet in pure mountain style with very neat modern decoration. A very warm place to party in winter after dark! Many guests arrive to congratulate the newlyweds, I take photos of the reception and I let the newlyweds continue their evening with a good typical Haute-Savoie meal.
