WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER CHAMONIX: WEDDING CELEBRATED AT HOTEL EDEN IN CHAMONIX, RECEPTION AT LA CABANE DES PRAZ

A wedding in the mountains in the middle of the winter: Chamonix is a perfect place if you want to have wedding portraits with the snow. It had just snowed the night before, the trees were full of it, when the sun came out to illuminate the Mont Blanc chain which was emerging from the clouds. After the first portraits at the Praz golf course, we climbed to Brevent at 2500 m. From the top the view is magnificent and we are exactly in front of the highest mountains.

Secular ceremony celebrated at the Hotel Eden in Les Praz de Chamonix, animated by the guests with speeches filled with emotions. After the ceremony everyone moves to the front of the Praz church for group photos outside: the light is spectacular on the mountains’s peaks and the temperature quickly becomes negative.

We take refuge at the Cabane des Praz for the reception, dinner and evening. La Cabane des Praz is a large traditional chalet in pure mountain style with very neat modern decoration. A very warm place to party in winter after dark! At the vin d’honneur, the buffet offers a small mountain specialty: mini raclette made on site. The entrance of the Bride and Groom is rather singular, accompanied by lively music and improvised dancing. The atmosphere remains very lively also at the table with speeches and games organised by the witnesses.
